    Buying games but VIP stars seem don't work


    Hello,

    This is several times that I buy games on Xbox Live but my VIP Stars counter doesn't increase.

    Can you verify my account ?

    Even, sometimes the website tell me buying gold but I already gold since 5 years.

    hello i have been buying and pre odering games but my vip stars never get updated cause am spending lots

    of money on games add on etc... so why am i not getting rewarded accordingly so please update my profile

    Hello pTyros,

    We see that your VIP star level is accurate. Keep in mind that we only track purchases made from the Xbox store, and that pre-orders, game consumables, and subscriptions are not eligible for MyVIP. You may see your MyRewards page
    to tell you to extend your Gold subscription when you begin to near the end of your current sub. Since we do not load a renewal until your subscription is over, it may take a day or so to load up your continued subscription. Also, you may wish to keep in mind
    that MyVIP has a recalibration every year. At the end of the year, we place you in your MyVIP rank for the new year based off your eligible spending from the previous year, and set your progress to the default state. This happened in September 2015 and December
    2016.

    Xbox Live rewards rebate issue

    As of September 2014, VIP status is no longer based on gamerscore (btw, legend status only have 3% back). VIP status is now based on star levels. You need at least 1 star level in order to receive a VIP rebate.

    There is a table for MyVIP levels for your region on the FAQ page at (https://rewards.xbox.com/faq/#vip), under "How is my MyVIP Star Rank determined?" The requirement for five stars for your region is $1800.
    As you request, we will leave this thread unlocked, but cannot guarantee a response.
    so I am literally 200$ short of five star? What was the bracket of last years 5 star since I literally was 5 star VIP not even a month ago if you don't mind me asking..😑
