Buying a game for a relative out in France

Hello there,

Not sure if this is the proper section, go ahead and move it if need be.

I have a relative that has moved to France recently for school and he doesn't have much spending money with all his expenses and bills. I would love to buy him a few games so we can play together. (I know about License transfers and whatnot, i just don't
want to get banned or anything happen to my account)

So my question is; is there a legit way for me to buy him a game? I know prepaid codes are country specific, and I'm def not going to send it through the mail. He is in France and I am in Canada.

Gears of War collection edition for Xbox One

I loved GoW but I played those games far too much to ever think about buying a collection. It's a great idea for some 13 year old that is a relative gaming noob tho.

In my opinion it would be better if you provide your relative the currency to purchase the game he wants. You can do this through an xbox digital gift card:

Of course! If they had different prices it would seem like a scam to go to france and buy a game cause
it would not be fair on other people as it would cost more money and they’d have to travel all the way to America or UK to get a game then back.

But this country was unfair as they made it cost more. Scroll down pictures to see the costs.
