As stated above you must purchase the promotion and it doea say autoreneewal is turned on and you did not read the terms and conditions that says you must puechase not redeem a code

It isnt ms fault you didnt follow the promo

All promos require you to buy it on the dashboard that is a given

Redeeming a code isnt using a renewable payment option

A code is a different purchase conpletely and is their own promotion it is your own fault you did not read the terms and conditions

HELLSFURY1200, actually in the terms and conditions for the offer it did state that prior purchases were not eligible for this offer. You purchased your code somewhere and then later on redeemed the code on the xbox. You made the purchase prior to attempting
to get the offer. Wherever you got the code is where the purchase happened. You never made a purchase on the xbox. You only redeemed a code. Not the same thing.

There is no run around you got your answer you did not buy the promotion

You paid for the 1 year and hot thw 1 year you paid for with a prepaid card

But you did not buy the promotion therefore you didnt qualify for the promotional 15bucks

As you been told by support over the phone and the terma and conditions of the promo and by fellow gamers like us

You need to buy the promotion on the dashboard with a renewalable payment option

As homegrown mentioned you did not buy the promo

You bought a ptevious prepaid card which doesnt count

Very rarely do prepaid cards count ona promotion that happened once in a lifetime so far and it was a specific promotion when xbox 360 s launched and it was in the terms of conditions for that promo

This isnt the case for this promo or most future or past promos

Then why have a redeem code option on there if it wasn't going to work? I was under the impression that it would recognize that it was a year purchase and it would still be redeemed.

It said on there that prepaid codes wereally eligible. That's why I bought card. It figures that this would happen. I paid for a year. I want what it said was offered. I'm fed up with shady deals. All I want is this made right. I'm about done with xbox/microsoft.
