EA are not trustworthy enough of keeping games online, there's to many that have had their servers switched off, i cant believe that nobody ever played these games online EVER guess now we never will know!

Custom Server Settings

So if and whenever EA/DICE allows us to rent/customize our own servers, what settings would choose? Map rotations, hardcore, etc.

[/quote]Really so no one is playing those FIFA games, those Madden games, and the other sports titles that EA releases each year, and then shuts down the previous years servers around the same time? So they aren't shutting them down so people who want to
play online have to buy the new version of the same game? That's not what they are doing?

If EA isn't doing this, then why did they Force MS to let them run their own servers when MS was going to do it for them like they do for almost everyone else? Why did EA tell MS that they had be allowed to run their own servers or they would not make any games
for the Xbox 360?

Because EA doesn't own Respawn, they only published Titanfall. EA does however own Dice, therefore they can make them use its own servers.

Respawn are free to use which ever servers they please. If Microsoft are open to letting Titanfall 2 use their servers for the Sony versions of the game, then they can use them.

therefore they can dictate the rules of their own server

EA isn;t preventing your son from using his account

he just can't use his account on their servers

I find it kind of stupid we have to rent a server, why not just let us host our own games with friends for free?
