    Will we have the option to buy the newly backwards compatible doom bfg edition digitally if we don't have the disk? This would've an instant buy for me this morning when i read the news of its release!

    DOOM III BFG is only available via disc. At this point in time, it is unknown as to whether or not it would eventually be made available to Games on Demand later on. Your best option would be to find a used disc and enjoy!

    It doesn't appear that Doom BFG is available for digital purchase currently. It would be up to the publisher to make that available again, if anything changes be sure to keep an eye out on the Xbox store.
