Buy as Default

The other day I was browsing game deals on my Xbox One console. I clicked on a game & my A button got stuck. By default the Buy icon is highlighted. Then on the next page the confirm icon is highlighted. Since the A button was
held down I was charged for a game I don't want. I proceeded to request a refund online which is not a straightforward process; there is no link in the Xbox marketplace webpage to do this.

The next day I receive an email stating "Unfortunately,there are no charges on your account matching the description, having said that, I cannot proceed with the refund process, so we are not
able to refund your order placed on Oct 5th." I sent a new Refund Request this morning. I hope this will be resolved quickly. Please reformat the store interface so that the Buy icon is not highlighted by default. Thank you.

At the main menu hover over multiplayer and click Y

You can do it at the main menu, I think you have to hit Y or some other button.

Pretty sure it tells you.

Hi! The easiest way to request a refund is usually by directly reaching out to Xbox Support: Contact Us | Xbox Support

 

As noted before I have already submitted a refund request & failed. I submitted a second request this morning. But my point is that the buy button should not be highlighted by default when the page opens just for this reason. Buttons will stick & people
will be charged for items they didn't intend nor want to purchase.

Refund Request, and or contact a live agent to see how they may help.
