    Personally I am going to wait - both for the new console and for the new Halo - getting them both at the same time (hoping for a bundle)

    I think the new console is going to be game changing (no pun intended) and cant wait to see what it does for current gen games and load times

    Will the Xbox one X become obsolete after the lunch of Scarlet

    Probably a huge factor on this will be price, If they hike up the Scarlet then the X will still hold a good value and usability.

    Buy X now and it could be useful for years, wait a year buy Scarlet and it will be usable for much much longer!!

    I am planning on skipping the X and going for the Scarlet once the deals come out!

    Unless you have a 4k monitor now ready to go, dont even bother with the One X. Either wait it out for Project Scarlett or get an Xbox One S. You can typically find them cheap now and theyre only going to get cheaper.
