Buy a game with Xbox Game Pass for PC discount

Xbox gold allows you to play online, gives you 4 free games a month (2 Xbox 360 and 2 Xbox One), and weekly discounts on games.

Game Pass allows you access to games from the game pass library without having to buy them all individually. You also get a discount if you decide to purchase the games.

The subscriptions are different, but you can also purchase Game Pass Ultimate which includes both plus Game Pass for PC and would be cheaper.

Anything you pay for, you get to keep. So you'll still be able to play the game if you cancel Game Pass or the game is removed from Game Pass. You won't be charged anything other than what you paid.

So just to check what you are saying in regards to the discount, would I have been able to buy the game discounted while it was still on game pass, but because it had just left there was no discount?

Yes, the game still has to be on Game Pass in order to have a discount.

You must actually purchase the game and it’s normally offered at a discounted price for Game Pass subscribers.
