Hello all.I am just starting to play games.I know nothing about gaming yet.What button on the xBox One controller do I press when I toggle to single player to enter that selection for the game "Fallout4".Thank you.Can you suggest any books that I could buy that would teach me how to game.I am a Senior Citizen and am having a terrible time.I do'nt know any 3 year olds that could teach me how to game on a Windows 10 laptop using an Xbox One controller.

I clicked New when I started the game,but I had to stop the game with the escape button to go out on a errand.What button on the XBox controller should I have pressed to stop(pause) the game?How do I restart the game?Will it restart from where I left off?I have the game down loaded on my laptop.Should I not ever stop a game?Thank you.

To start a new single-player game, just open the game, wait for it to load, and from the menu click on new, this will create a new save for you, for that click the A button on the Xbox control over the option to then load the new game.

As for the in-game playing instructions manual, generally each game lists its instructions once you join the servers but it would be best to post on the game developer's official pages for suggestions from other previous players.

Set up the DNS Settings on your Xbox One. Before you can do this, you will need to come up with a unique IP address for your Xbox One console (i.e. "************"). This IP address cannot be shared by any other devices on your wireless network. Then use the following steps to set up your DNS settings on your Xbox One console:

Press the Xbox button on your controller.

Select Profile & system.

Select Settings.

Select Network.

Select Advanced Settings

Select IP Settings.

Select Manual.

Enter the unique IP address you came up with for your console and press Enter.

Enter the subnet mask you got from your computer and press Enter.

Enter the default gateway you got from your computer and press Enter.

Select DNS Settings.

Select Manual.

Enter your primary DNS server and press Enter.

Enter your secondary DNS server (if there is one), and press Enter.

try this , worked for me, was beta tester myself. things are messed up but i guess its in the workings to getting fixed.

1.Press the Guide button on your controller, go to Settings, and then select System Settings.

2.Select Network Settings.

3.Select Wired Network or the name of your wireless network, if you are prompted to do so.

4.Select Configure Network.

5.On the Basic Settings tab, select DNS Settings.

6.Select Manual.

7.Select Primary DNS Server.

8.Enter 8.8.8.8

9.Select Secondary DNS Server.

10.Enter 8.8.4.4

11.Select Done again.

12.Press the B button on your controller, and then select Test Xbox LIVE Connection.
