Burnout Paradise (XBox 360) Car Packs Gone Free?

I've been playing a lot of Burnout Paradise for the Xbox 360 since the servers are scheduled to go down on August 1st. Doing matches and games with people, helping others get challenges done, things like that. Just pretty much getting the online achievements
and such out of the way while I can.

Well, when I logged in today, I got a message saying that I had access to the Time Saver Pack. When I went and looked at what cars I had available to me, I had access to all of the cars and vehicles in game, including vehicles exclusive to a few DLC packs,
such as the Toy Cars and Legendary Cars. I have not purchased any of those packs, and they were, in fact, delisted last week before I would have even had the chance to purchase them.

Am I the only one that got this? Did EA give everyone access to these cars since the server was going down? Is it a glitch? Anyone out there know what's going on?

I'll give that a try.

I did try checking it out on my other consoles though. It seems like playing on the 360 doesn't allow for me to use the DLC or unlocked cars, but I'll try on my OG Xbox once I get home. Perhaps it was a fluke.

I've tried asking about this on EA's forums, but I haven't gotten an answer yet. (I'll keep everyone posted.) But I have played around with it to see if this is affecting anything else.

Here's what I've found:

This glitch, bug, or whatever it is only seems to be doing its thing on my Xbox One X. It does NOT seem to work on my other systems [OG Xbox 360 and OG Xbox One], even after loading up the same exact save. The two DLCs I have purchased and the 1.6 Update
are installed on all of those systems, and those DLCs are loading normally on all the consoles. I've tried restarting my X to see if that would somehow lock everything back up, but it seems like everything is still unlocked when I get things loaded back up.

Not that I really mind that this is happening (I mean, woohoo, free stuff!) but I'd like to know if anyone else has run into a glitch that basically gives you free DLC like this.

Burnout Paradise had 78 cars... at least! I don't get the point of having a bazillion cars TBH, most of them will never be used much.... but anyway. Or do you mean 12 players online??

Yes, this looks just like Burnout Paradise 2, but with licensed cars and so far I think it looks more polished and won't need the game changing content that Burnout Paradise had.

I think the Paradise model will work well with NFS, it's more like NFS than Burnout anyway!
