    Hello guys, So I am trying to cross-play Destiny 2. I play on xbox one and I am trying to crossplay to make my character available on PC. I have done it before and I do not know why I am having problems now. But when I go to Bungie.com, and try to sign in
    using my Xbox profile and it keeps giving me this message: We were unable to sign you in with your Xbox Live account. Please visit xbox.com and sign in to verify/update your Xbox Live account. This error usually indicates
    that your Microsoft account has no Xbox Live Gamertag, or that your account must be updated in some way, such as agreeing to an updated terms of use.

    I have never had troubles signing in to my account on bungie before, and I am all of a sudden having issues. I've looked everywhere and am close to giving up, may someone please help me?

    If you are making a new Bungie account but want to attach it to an existing Windows Live ID, then you need to be signed into the Windows Live ID that you want to link to the Bungie account before hand, and then click the box that says " Sign Up " not "

    Unlink or Deauthorise all third party sites from my Ms Account (sites that let you use this as a way of signing in).

    It appears there was no support for bungie.

    I contacted MS they took me around in circles first saying to change my ms account - this couldn't be done because of some error that suggested my other MS account was not an Ms account and tried to get me to make it one again - even though it was already
    done so it failed - then they said to take my other MS account and make it an alias - that couldn't be done as it is already a main MS account, then they said to contact Activision about Bungie - but Activision does not support Bungie or Halo as it is not
    in there support site as a listed game.

    It appears that I managed to sign up another Bungie account using this MS account then linking another Google account to it so I can sign in via the Google in order to unlink this MS account.

    I checked there and removed everything but for some reason Bungie still won't let me link it up as it attached to an old account that I can't sign into because the site halo.bungie.net closed and it got moved to halo.Xbox.com.

    Bungie only has sign in via PSN Facebook xbox and Google - when I selected xbox it tries to register me again rather than signing in to the old account.

    Also I noticed that Bungie says its linked to another account but it wasn't in the list on my xbox account to de authorize as per above.

    Opinion.The Playstation will be the platform with the best version.MS should be embarrassed that Bungie is giving exclusive content to Sony.Is this a sign of resentment on Bungies part? Or does it simply say that Bungie feels the Playstation is a better
    choice for gaming?
