    Just seen the news on Pocket-lint that Halo Spartan Assault will be available for download on December 24th, delivered by Santa ?

    Subtitled Spartan Ops Cut-scenes

    I haven't played Spartan Ops yet, but I sat down and watched the first 8 cutscenes yesterday, watched episode 9 earlier today. I love the cutscenes, this ending is building expectation for Halo 5 or a Spartan Ops season 2.

    I think your getting a little confused.

    In Halo Wars they had Spartan-2 with Mk 4 armor

    Master Chief is a Spartan-2 with Mk 5 armor in Halo CE

    Master Chief gets Mk 6 armor in Halo 2 (he has this in Halo 3 as well)

    The spartans in Halo: Reach were Spartan-3 (except Jorge who was a spartan-2)

    These spartans in Halo 4 multiplayer are Spartan-4, not sure what armor they are using, it will probably be customisable as in Reach.

    As long as you weren't a spartan to begin with. Building your character up to be a spartan would be great fun.
