    Bugged Secret Achievements (Xbox Series X)


    I spoke to Xbox support about a month ago because I was playing Rainbow Six Siege: Extraction and completed some easy secret achievements and they never unlocked, but did for my friend. They told me to wait a few days and check back in.

    I moved on from that game and forgot about it, once Dying Light 2 came out I played at least 70 hours of it and unlocked a lot of normal achievements, but all secret achievements never unlocked. A perfect example one is " Into the Unknown " Which is to reach Villedor, which is part of the main story, this never unlocked for me but did for a friend. I even restarted the game and tried to get there again... Still didn't unlock. This was a few weeks ago.

    I purchased Elden Ring a few days ago and have been playing it quite a bit. I realized a few hours into the game that I haven't received any achievements at all, so I checked the achievements and 90% of them are all Secret Achievements, which brings me to contacting Xbox Support once again who directed me here...

    I really need this issue resolved as it greatly affects gaming as I like to hunt achievements.

    Seems this bug also only affects Xbox One/Series X/S games. Been playing some Xbox 360 games on back compat and they show achievements just fine after hours of play.

    I assume everyone is still having problems? I tried my siblings OG Xbox One consoles today and both worked fine, achievements popped consistently over a couple of hours. My series X is still not showing notifications though. Wondering if it's and X/S type bug.

    Secret achievements is asinine and I agree with the OP. I've seen games that list more than half the achievements with secret achievements only. Secret Achievements make baby jesus fetus cry.

    Does the series x support 1440p 144/155 refresh rate?

    The Xbox Series X will do 120Hz but no more, regardless of resolution or monitor.

    I would check to see if other Xbox Series X owners have confirmed to achieve 1440p120Hz on those monitors before purchasing.

    Maybe a google of "xbox series x 1440p 120hz ___________ " and insert the monitor model to see if people have posted about their monitor and Series X working.

    My xbox series x/s achievements are showing up as xbox one achievements on xbox.com ?

    Achievements unlocked while playing on a series S/X aren't separate,they're just the same as xbox one achievements.

    It's not like the xbox 360 & xbox one where the achievement system was made slightly different,the xbox one & series consoles use the same achievement system.
