Bug when trying to add my son as a child in my family account

The best way I found to manage my sons account was to create my own account, and then add my son as a child to the FAMILY.

That meant that all the privacy and security settings are done through MY account using the FAMILY options.

A much easier and better way to manage your kids, without having to sign into their account.

thanks for your reply.

I did what you said, I removed the time limits for the kids account, but the issue still remains.

After that, I removed the account of my son from the Xbox, I performed a Xbox power cycle and readded the childs account.

The problem is still there.

The Xbox itself is counting the time correctly, only the website is showing wrong times.

It seems, like it counts more accounts together.

On sunday the account of my son was active for 30 minutes, when I looked on the webpage after that, the time was correct.

Later the same day, I played 20 minutes from my Xbox account, the account of my son was not active.

After that, the web page displayed an activitiy time of 50 minutes on the account of my son. It seems to add the time of his account and my account.

I think it is a bug on the https://account.microsoft.com/family.

Can one of you report this bug to the software department?

Hey there Pain! I've tried reproducing this on my console with a parent/child account, but when I try accessing the Family settings on the Child account, it asks for the Passcode before ever showing me the Family Timer. Can you let us know how your son is
bypassing this setting? Did you set up a Passcode? If not, please give that a try and see if it prevents your son from accessing it. Let us know, thanks!

Hello do you have your child's account connected to your family account? Once your logged into your account select family tab the select child's name and manage there. What are you trying to manage? I use family account for my son but it seems like something
is missing bbn here.

I could be interpreting incorrectly but it sounds like you want to add your son's account to your xbox family roster? Some more info here...
