bug trial version Battlefield 5

Hello,

I downloaded the trial version of battlefield V last week. I liked the game and I bought it on disk.

Unfortunately, the console detects the disc but once started the game still considers me to be in a period of trying and asks me to "upgrade the game" by buying the game.

Could you help me get access to the game I bought?

I already uninstall the trial version and reinstall the game several times but it did not work. Can you remove this trial version of my Xbox account?

Thanks for reaching out to the Forums for advice on how to hopefully get past this game license problem. I can totally understand any confusion experienced while dealing with this issue. I read there in your last post that you had reset the console twice.

Can you explain exactly how you did so? Most of the time it gets confused with

power cycling, which is a different type of console maintenance.

I suggest uninstalling the game,
removing your account and then re-adding it to your console and reinstalling.

If that does not work, then I suggest uninstalling the game, performing a soft factory reset
(Keeping your games & apps) and then reinstalling.

If you haven't done so, give those steps a shot and let us know if that helped rectify the issue.

Hello there have you tried these following steps 1. Reset console twice 2. Sign out resign in again then reinstall

I have just reset my xbox twice as you advised me.

I then logged in with my brother's account and started the game to see if there had been a change and it worked!

BUT once I reinstalled my xbox account (the one with which I had installed the trial version), the bug started again and I did not have access to the full version of the game anymore.
Can you help me solve this problem?

You could try to reinstall the game since it installed with a special license.

As the other answers try to power cycle or if that did not work you do need to reinstall it as it has the trail license instead of the owner ship license not sure why
they can't just update it like they did for 360 if you bought the game and you had the demo it would do a small update for the license to change.
