[Bug] 'Show me things when idle' toggle doesn't work

Go to settings, select preferences, and hit idle options. Now, uncheck “Show me things when idle.” This should get rid of the idle problem.

This will fix the current issue, but removes the idle screen. This sounds like a bug as it is not intended to idle while watching a disc based movie (or streaming content either).

Ensure you have the latest version of the bluray app from the store. If that doesn't fix it, the work around M3tal Daz3 suggested will work, but it not a permanent fix as it removes the Idle option from the console.

It seems you have your console configured to put the screensaver after a while without activity.

In case that your console is an Xbox One :

Go to Settings, select Preferences, and hit Idle options. Now, uncheck “Show me things when idle.” This should get rid of the idle problem.

My xbox account is glitched it shows me online for me but my friends see me offline and i cant fix it. I set

it to appear online but the same thing

If the restart didnt fix your probelm try toggling appearing offline

I see this behavior periodically, usually I try toggling my status first, if that doesn't work I do the hard reset.

Even if these work, it can take a minute or two for things to sync up across the systems.
