Bug reports for xbox series-s guide and streaming through xbox app

Hello again, I know it's Series S that's trying to stream on PC, however the App companion works in conjunction with the Xbox App, have you updated the apps and tried streaming through it?

We understand that you are trying to setup livestream through using third party apps in your Xbox console and is unable to because the browser in your device automatically opens and no option to separately open the intended app. Let us see how we can help.

It is possible that the streaming app is still not downloaded in your device that is why the default browser is automatically open.

To stream from a live streaming provider on Xbox Series X|S and Xbox One, download the app for the provider you want to use. Press the Xbox button to open the guide and select Store > Apps. Find and select the app, and then select Install.

To reiterate: The audio, when played from a game instead of a streaming app, through Dolby Atmos is lagging severely on your Xbox Series X.

At this time, we don't have any information to share that would fix your problem right now. The team will likely need information that the Report a Problem app on your console may be able to provide. If Report a Problem is not installed already on your console, you can download and install it from the app store.

Once it's installed:

1. Reproduce the bug
   
2. As the bug is happening, hold the Nexus (the Xbox logo) button on your controller until the power options come up
   
3. Select Report a Problem
   

You'll want to summarize what you mentioned here as briefly as you possibly can in the body of the report you submit through Report a Problem.

If anything changes or new information becomes available, we'll follow up.

It doesn't work with next gen which shocked me. No ETA either.

Remote Play on Windows 10

• Known issue: Console streaming to a Windows 10 device from an Xbox Series X|S will not work through the Xbox Console Companion app.
  
• Workaround: This feature is only supported through an Xbox One generation device. You can currently stream from an Xbox Series X|S console to an Android or iOS device via the Xbox app. Keep an eye on news.xbox.com for any updates on further support for additional platforms like Windows 10 devices.
