TV pvr voice commands no longer working

For some reason my voice commands for tv pvr functionality have stopped work, When I say "Xbox pause", I get a message at the top of the screen saying "Unable to pause from current location" but if I pickup my xbox controller and select the on-screen pause
button it will pause my pvr, the xbox media remote will also pause my pvr. All the channel changing and one guide commands still work. The pause command also works fine in other apps like Plex.

This is fairly annoying since these are the commands I probably use most.

Games automatically continue when paused on Xbox One

Hi forum,

when i press the pause button of the Xbox One controller the game automatically continues after 1-2 minutes. This happens on all my Xbox One games (Forza 5, CoD Ghost). Whats wrong? Many thanks in advance.

Based on what we gathered from the video you console is still trying to install an update once things are paused?

Is that accurate to what you are experiencing? If it is not please post back with a detailed description!

In this case, it may be a required update for that particular game and pausing the individual update or uninstalling the title may be the best course of action.

Are you able to pause the single update?

Have you attempted to power cycle the console by powering it down, unplugging it for 5 minutes, and then trying once more?

Hi!

i was on transit, anyway, yes plug unplug the power nothing worked, as the video show, i cannot stop not only updates but games download.

and i don't see any massage while i play online that they stops so i don't know if i play online while it download cntents in background.

i trought with a S of a friends and he is able to pause or stop them, me not, as u see after a pause button press, it stops all my list of downalod for a second one to one and then it come back downloading someone at random.

is not about unistall, they are gaming downaloads ,

i will try to pause a single downalod this night and let u know the result,

anyway is there is a solve that doesnt resect all my S i will be glad, it's 2 WEEK that i downloads 70gb games and i'm going to keep the bug if i will not be able to keep the games.

i've tried it and it seems that only with more then 10 downalods it happens, like in the

now i ve less than that and all works fine. i will try the factory reset keeping the games.
