Bug (confirmed) When using mouse in streaming and Xbox apps

If you plug the keyboard and mouse in the Xbox, and the game supports them, then you should be able to stream to your Windows 10 device using the keyboard and mouse. Currently as far as i know the app still only supports the controller when connected to
Windows 10.

You can't use mouse and keyboard while streaming. When streaming you are using the xbox console that is just showing in your pc screen.

Yes but what if I want to use the mouse and keyboard while streaming, I dont want to have to unplug my desktops mouse and keyboard and connect it to my xbox when I have the ability to play from here. Can I play mouse and keyboard supported games through
streaming?

Again, as I said in my original post: the streaming works fine under initial circumstances. So it cannot be a bandwidth or routing issue. The issue is only when you disconnect from the stream and reconnect, using the Xbox app.

I'm going to assume it's a bug in the Xbox app which doesn't seem able to reconnect to existing streams properly.

Xbox supports the use of mouse and keyboard in some games and apps, but it doesn’t work for all content. The game or app publisher must enable this feature for their content.

To configure your mouse:

1. Press the Xbox button on your controller to open the guide.
2. Select Profiles & system > Settings > Devices & streaming.
3. Select Mouse. You’ll see options for pointer speed and for swapping primary and secondary mouse buttons.
