    Hi,

    My Xbox One S 2TB Gears Of War 4 Collectors Edition is playing up. The problem has slowly gotten worse over time.

    It started when I turned it on i would get the "not connected to Xbox Live" message so I connected to my modem and then it was fine until the next day when it did the same.

    After about a week of it doing this it would no longer connect to my modem and it kept on saying the wifi password was wrong when it wasn't. I resolved this by connecting the Xbox to the personal hotspot on my phone.

    After about a week of doing that it would no longer connect to my phone and I phoned BT and they told me to get and wifi extender. So I did and the problem sort of settled down.

    After about a month it no longer connected to the wifi extender either so I contacted BT again and they said it's Xbox fault and to contact them. So I contacted Xbox support team and they tell it's BT at fault and I'm stuck with an Xbox that won't connect
    to Xbox live at all and two companies blaming each other and refusing to help me.

    Without Xbox live I can't play some of my favourite games like The Division. Can somebody help me. Please!

    You would need to set up your wireless network connection again as the SSID of your network will have changed. You can set that up in the network settings section on your console

    Forver Being Kicked Out Of Ghosts On XBox One

    Using BT internet via wireless connection (no option to hard wire)

    Multiplayer test shows open nat (although during game onscreen shows nat moderate

    Wireless connection is around 71%

    Tried lifting xbox in to different position but that doesn't improve the connection strength.

    Still getting kicked despite BT saying they've set my hub frequency correctly etc (home Hub 3)

    Battlefield connection fine for hours, minecraft disconnected every 10 mins

    The BT home hub 2.0 is commonly bad for connections to Xbox Live, I had the exact same problem and solved it by calling BT and asking for the 3.0 router.

    Failing that the BT forums are littered with answers to your question. I would, however, highly recommend switching to home plugs, BT often give these out for free.
