    Hello,

    I've recently started encountering an error when trying to launch Apex Legends where I get a blue screen crash that presents me with the error message saying PAGE_FAULT_IN_NONPAGED_AREA in regards to "easyanticheat.sys."

    No updates were performed between the time I last successfully launched the game and the time that it stopped working -- the only significant event that might've affected this was my power cutting out when the PC was on, but I'm not sure how/if that could be an issue? I've tried deleting easyanticheat.sys, reinstalling Easy Anti Cheat, and my Windows Memory Diagnostics check found no errors.

    Hi, as the problem is happening only with this game the best option is reach their dedicated support.

    I have two more advice, but they’re completely optional.

    A. Perform an in-place upgrade for your system (don't worry your content will remain)

    power cutting out could have damaged the memory, that error points to memory hardware fault 90% of the time, i repair laptops and pc's for a living.

    Restart the PC and try again

    B. Do a clean boot in your PC and try again

    Hey Josef, thanks for your tips. Unfortunately, the problem persists. I installed Apex on the C Drive instead of D, and that got me past the Easy Anti Cheat window and on to the opening cinematic for the game, but it still crashes soon afterwards. Any other advice?

    Any way to check that on my end? Windows Memory Diagnostics returned no errors, and other games work fine, including ones that also use Easy Anti Cheat.
