    Browsing the new store is too narrow and a chore


    I feel browsing the new store is waaay too narrow. Trying to browse by reading horizontally is really quite difficult. I feel with the likes of netflix where they also browse horizontally, that works fine as you scroll horizontally too. This means you can keep your eyes fixed in one position as you scroll. In the store, to have to move your eyes from one to the next, then reset when you scroll down. I know this sounds stupid, but it means you can't browse quickly (plus there is quite a delay when you scroll down). Its a bit like skimming an article; it's really easy to skim a bullet point list, but much more intensive trying to skim lines of text.

    Another thing I wish I could do is shrink the preview details. I dont need all that info while browsing. If something takes my interest, then I want to know more. If I could shrink/hide that preview text, it would allow more screen real estate to see lists of games. I want to see what is on offer and I have to painstakingly scroll through it one slither of a line at a time. I'm not in info mode at this point - I just want to see what is available. I betvif you did eye tracking on this page, you would find people are fixed on the line of games for 90% of the time - yet everything else takes up 75% of the screen!

    Anyway - just my opinion. I find it quite a strain searching the new store. Bit too stop and start as well (but that may be a connection issue more than UX).

    Browse the Store at the top, then in Games choose "Browse all games" just below the main pictures.

    This takes you to a new screen, along the top there is a redeem a code button.

    You can store music/ video/ photos on external HDD or usb stick as long as you have no games stored on them. There are new files supported in next update.

    Voice messaging is not supported yet.

    Not sure about the A to Z though.
