    Hi all, I've been trying to watch streaming on the microsoft medge app in xbox series x and it doesn't work for certain things. On the same website I can see shorts posted, but not a full episode. (It works from smartphone or pc) It's from a legal Italian webside and I am an uk resident (if that matters). Looking on internet I tried to change the option "allow sites to play protected content (recommended)" with no success. So I am asking Reddit in hope to solve it! Happy to try different browsers to solve the issue. My smart tv is old and not worth using it and it won't let me Chromecast it. I can attach an hdmi from PC but I'd rather do it with using other devices as I using xbox for all media. error code: Playback-DMR-6001

    Yep I have the same thing on xbox series x, and if I use the edge browser and go to discovery plus

    it won't let me stream but if I use my laptop it works fine. That tells me it's a xbox Microsoft) problem.

    If you are using Xbox Series X|S, you should have a Microsoft Edge. Microsoft Edge is a browser where you can visit website and search information. If you have Microsoft Edge on your Xbox, you may search for Hulu's website and stream videos from the site itself. If you do not have a browser, then please report this issue to Hulu support for them to investigate.

    Microsoft Edge can't update on Xbox Series S

    When I open the browser, using Xbox Series S, in the upper right corner there are 3 dots (...). From those dots a box opens saying it was unable to update the browser and to reinstall Microsoft Edge. The link takes you to a Microsoft page where you can download Edge, but you have to first select a Windows version. Xbox is not listed as it's a modified Windows operating system.

    If you "X out" of the notification Window saying it was unable to update and to reinstall Edge. There is a red notification tag on the 3 dots in the upper right hand corner indicating something needs to be done. When you click on the 3 dots at the top of that menu it says "Microsoft Edge is out of date". When you click on the message it opens the box telling you to reinstall Microsoft Edge.

    Hello Kathy,

    I am not having any issues with my Series X console in terms of browsing and using the Microsoft Edge browser in streaming Youtube and other video streaming sites.

    On the other hand, if I am using Microsoft Edge on my laptop or android phone, it can't also stream Discovery Plus.
