Hi everyone, next year I am going to work in turkey for almost 8 months, I live in Italy and I was thinking to bring a Xbox series S with me; do you think there will be problems bringing a console in turkey? can it be locked in some way like smartphones? can I get in trouble for taking it on a plane?

    thanks

Hello, first it's a pleasure to be able to help you today.

My name is welcome to the community.

Hello Allesio, we can not talk about the legal aspects of Turkish customs with regard to electronic devices that travelers bring, but I believe it will not have problems but it is always good to inform with the airline and also on the official website of Turkey.

In the matter of the console itself, you may have to buy a different cable or adapter because the socket is different in Turqui, as the voltage will not have problems because being Xbox series S it is automatic bivolt.

Keep in mind that certain services may not be available

For example if you get xgu and want to run xcloud it's not possible

Also bc titles wouldn't be able to download

To be on the safe side you should buy an official Xbox 360 Swedish power brick. They are all compatible with all Xbox 360's

Here's some information when going abroad:

Before boarding any aircraft or packing the wireless controller in luggage that will be checked, remove any batteries from the wireless controller. The wireless controller can transmit radio frequency (RF) energy, much like a cellular telephone, whenever
batteries are installed. But you probably acknowledged that.

It will work, because the power net in Sweden is 220 / 230V.

    Same as in Scotland!

You will need a "Sweden" dongle, but you already knew that.
