    Bring back the old version of the game.


    The new version of the game updated automatically early in October. Since then it has been impossible to play the game as before.

    Problems include

    i) The plying screen now includes an advert box that covers some of the tiles in many of the games.

    ii) Many of the adverts are animated so distracting you from the game - very annoying and hardly likely to lead to a sale.

    iii) Some of the adverts are for US goods and services!!!! (Priced in dollars)

    iv) When you start the second daily challenge the game (but not the clock) freezes. Sometimes you can pause and resume but if that happens the background screen will start to go flash between black and normal. After a while the screen goes completely
    black and go have to bail out.

    Today I got in touch with the help desk but I knew I wasn't going to get anywhere when the agent said that MahJong was not playable on a PC. I suppose he was right - it isn't playable now - but it was and is supposed to be.

    I agree. The new version of Microsoft Sudoku is rubbish!! Please bring back the old version and remember - if something isn't broken, don't fix it.

    Even ports are a let down. They remind us of how far games have come and older games very seldom hold a candle to modern releases. Even those old RPGs you remember for their awesome story lines will drive you crazy with crappy menus, terrible combat and
    graphics glitches like clipping and screen tearing.

    I went through the crap-fest that was FFXIII. Promptly downloaded FFIX FROM PSN and had a blast. And I'd never played FFIX so it wasn't nostalgia leading me.

    You now what I'd buy on the marketplace? Chuckie Egg 2. Now that's old. If they bring it back keep the awesome seizure inducing loading screen.

    I know some are dead against remakes, re-releases and stuff for some reason. I don't mind though. Some have given me a chance to play games I've missed out on.
