Bring back Halo Local Co-Op

I posted this once but I still would like to know why Halo 5 came out with no local Co-Op my son and I love to play the game together. Now it's oline only! Hope Halo 6 comes out with local Co-Op or this is my last Halo I buy. I ran out to buy it for him
and didn't look before I bought. I won't make the same mistake twice. Bring back Local Co-Op.

Buyers remorse, any suggestions for getting the most out of the Xbox One for our situation?

Oh yeah, you talked about HALO Co-op.

HALO 5 is a SINGLE player game. You can only play co-op online.

But... The Master Chief Collection allows you to play all the previous HALO titles in Co-op.

The online Multiplayer was a mess when it launched but the local Co-op worked fine.

I think "Warriors Orochi 3 Ultimate" features split screen co-op. I'll double check when I'm home.

Sorry to hear you're disappointed with the removal of local split-screen, but this would be best directed towards 343 Industries, the developers, perhaps via their forums, rather than these Support forums as there's nothing we can really do here.

You could also add the suggestion - or vote for an existing one - on the Xbox Feedback site, though this will likely have less impact than reaching out to the developers themselves.

This is a topic that has been hashed out in forums all over the internet. It was a decision that was made in order to enhance game play. There a rumors that it may be brought back in the next HALO but at this point that is just rumors.

This is a major topic for me since I feel that nothing beats live co-op face to face with friends. I have had fun on other consoles but unless I am playing sports or fighting games I don't get the benefit of this with Halo. I recently wanted my fiancée to
play with me and she couldn't because of the online restrictions. Please fix this.

Just for clarification, are you trying to play local co-op / split-screen? Because Halo 5 is the only one in the series that doesn't have local co-op.
