Now give us super monday night combat, TF2, champions online, Dc universe!!!! this is great news!!!

 

mediocre game that released on ps3 years ago, nothing really different and costs a fortune for any descent kit or powers.

 

Unfortunately the consensus online seems to be that this can be a nice distraction for a bout a month... but after that you're not gonna make any progress without throwing money at it.

 

Have any of you actually played the game or just going on one about what others have said?

The first DLC doesn't actually kick in until your level 30 and a higher combat rating.

As for powers, yes if you want to run around setting things on fire or become a Green Lantern type then yes you will need to purchase the powersets but the first DLC includes the Light stuff.

If you want to become a batman(minus the BvS loot bag)/superman/green arrow character then the powersets which came with the game should be sufficient.

Free to play games always need to gain money from somewhere so charging for DLC is one way. With DCUO you can purchase membership which at the most costs £75 for the year (you pay monthly) and gives you access to all the DLC for free. This is probs the cheapest
option for people who love to make ALTs.

 

Kind of surprised by this one. Didn't see it coming.

It is an older game but glad to have access to it on Xbone. Now my TOR dreams can stay alive.

They surprised a lot of people I think as it seemed to just come out the blue.

I knew it was coming 'Spring 2016' but didn't know of the date. I wish I did as if not have bothered to get the BvS stuff lol now I've got to buy it again to make my Batman again.

Is anyone here playing this? Played it on PC a while back and always looking for more people to play with. Still figuring out stuff.

 

Pass downloaded and try to play Friday. I not waiting an hour in a queue. Could not connect Saturday or Sunday so I deleted it.

 

Just as boring as it was on the PS3 4 or 5 years ago.

It's alright for about half an hour but that's it.

 

Have I played it?

No.

Have I played free to play garbage before?

Yes and they're rubbish.

Even the good ones are spoiled by the pay walls.

 

Worst launch ever. The Devs have shut that game down everyday since its release. I have been able to play once so far. If I do try I have to wait like an hour in line behind 5000 others already waiting to play. And they want gamers to buy a membership hehe
