  1. Brand new Xbox series s with no green band

Hi, just bought a new Xbox series s, when I unboxed it the console was wrapped in the usual white wrap but no green band (the power your dreams one), is that usual? Or the box has been opened or tampered with?

    :)

Brand new Xbox series s with no green band

I really wouldn't worry about it, plug it in and turn it on if it works it's fine. Unlike a PC, there is no way for them to load malware onto your game system

Did your Xbox series S come with a “power your dreams” green band around console?

Hello, Jackets. I'm Arturo, and I'll be glad to provide assistance with your inquiry today.

Every brand new Xbox Series X|S comes with this “green band”, so it's not usual to hear that a brand-new console doesn't have it.

Did you purchase the console from target.com, or did you get it directly from the store?

Besides that, could you check the console warranty?
This can be done here https://account.microsoft.com/devices?refd=account.microsoft.com > register new device > enter the console serial.

Does the warranty say that expires in 1 year after the date of purchase, or do you have less time?

I'll look forward to hearing your answers.

    Kind regards,

    Arturo.

    New Xbox?

Yeah, there are already 2 brand new consoles the Xbox series X and the Xbox Series S. I think that the new Xbox series X is amazing, but I expect it will be along time before a new console is develpoped.

Xbox Series X/S games "not playable on this device" on brand new Xbox One X

I just bought a brand new Xbox One X, but when I go to the store, Flight Simulator and other Xbox Series X/S games say they are "not playable on this device" and I can't get Flight Simulator to install on my brand new Xbox One X because it says it's "not compatible". Very frustrating.
So you bought an Xbox One X and expected to be able to play an Xbox Series X game on it?

Why would a game made for an Xbox Series X work on an Xbox One X?

If you want to play Xbox Series X/S games I would take your brand new Xbox One X back to the store you bought it and see if they will take it back and you could try and buy an Xbox Series S (Series X consoles are very hard to find, but a Series S can be found fairly easilly)
