    Hi,

    I've recently purchased a red Xbox one wireless controller. I'm usually a mouse and keyboard player but for certain games like Gears Of War, Forza etc I prefer a controller. The controller I received runs well for a few minutes and then it just starts moving
    my character all over the place. I've tried updating the firmware, drivers etc nothing seems to work. When I tried to register it, there's no way to register a controller on the Microsoft website.

    Please help.

    I've tried to return it but amazon won't take it back unless I get a "Can not assist from Microsoft". All the Microsoft customer service helplines keep cutting at the very last stage when the actual customer service rep is supposed to pick up. Please help

    Sadly it doesn't as I said I already ran the trouble shooting and bought 2 brand new controllers plus had the retailer replace one of the two with a 3rd brand new controller but my original controller doesn't do it but has phantom movements which are just
    as bad.

    Yes, it should work. But that's a fair bit to spend on a controller and a wireless receiver. If you can find the Games For Windows Wireless controller, you would have a better deal since the Windows branded controller should have the receiver in the same
    box.

    I am having this problem as well. Brand new series x, brand new controller, brand new batteries. System is up to date and so is the controller. Has to be a software issue, this does not happen on my Xbox One.
