Brand new S black screen on game launch

Before considering getting a new one please try factory resetting the TV with the problem or check if a firmware update is available (of course, if you want)

Welp, that was simultaneously helpful and expensive. All of the TV's settings were correct, but it WAS the TV (a year ago, it had issues playing video from a Windows 10 laptop. Perhaps some sort of glitch).

Tried it with an old lower-res TV I'd forgotten about, and it's working.

So off to the strip mall for a new TV.

Could be that the TV game mode is interfering with this.
Try disabling this mode via TV settings. Once disabled restart your console and try again

Series X. I can't even get into the game. As soon as I try and launch a new game from the title screen I get a black screen and the loading icon freezes. So frustrating.

I have a Series S with two years of GamePass Ultimate. Downloaded BLACK, I see the “360 hard drive needed” message, when I attempt to launch the game it just goes right back to Home Screen.
