Brand new PSN and Microsoft account, can't link, HORRIBLE customer service...

Just to let you know, here in the community forums no one can access directly to your account information or giving you this information.

That being said, you said that you created a new PSN and a new Microsoft account and even after that the new PSN account is showing the same message. Right?

If that’s the case, I know that probably you think it’s not related but try:

A. Changing your new PSN account password and try linking the accounts again (do the same with your new Microsoft account)

B. Create a new alias in the new Microsoft account and enable it as a new way to sign in and try linking the accounts again

C. Try using a different PS console and Wi-Fi network and try to link the accounts

I play on PlayStation and the account that’s linked to it is deleted and still says log in with said deleted account

Unfortunately theres nothing that can be done about that because Sony only lets you link a single Microsoft account to your PSN for Minecraft.

Even if you could unlink the old Microsoft account, Sony wont let you link a different one.

The only option is to create a brand new PSN account and link a new Microsoft account to that.

Here’s what’s going on and what you can try:

Once a PSN account is linked to a Microsoft account, it can't be unlinked or re-linked to a different one

If you see the message saying your new Microsoft account is already linked to another PSN account, it usually means that PSN ID was previously linked to a different Microsoft account, even if you didn’t realize it.

You may have linked it in the past without realizing

This happens a lot when users test login with older Microsoft accounts or had Xbox services before and forgot. It only takes one successful link for the PSN and Microsoft systems to lock it in.

Use your PSN ID to check if it’s tied to an older Microsoft account

Try signing into > https://www.minecraft.net or https://account.xbox.com with any older Microsoft emails you may have used.

If the PSN was ever linked to one of those, it should show up once logged in.

What you can’t do right now

Unfortunately, Microsoft doesn't currently offer a way to unlink a PSN ID from a Microsoft account once it’s been connected. Even if it was accidental, that link becomes permanent under the current policy.

I know this isn’t the answer you were hoping for, especially if you were just trying to get things set up. The best move now is to figure out which Microsoft account your PSN was first linked to, and if that one’s recoverable, use it instead of the new one.

You can link a Microsoft account to a PSN account only when none of the both was linked to the other previously.

If one of the two was linked previously to the other service, you're not going to be able to link that account to a different one.
