    Bought Xbox S at one house and now can't access some of my games on my Xbox One at another...


    I recently migrated from Xbox One to Xbox Series S at one of my parent's houses. I have an Xbox One at my other house and had no issues accessing my games like Forza. Since I migrated to the Xbox Series S at the one house some of the games on my existing Xbox One won't let me play, download and says I need to pay for the game but I already own it and played it on that xbox one for years.

    Anyone know how to solve this situation of why I can't access my old games that have been purchased on my xbox one?

    All the devices (Xbox One and Xbox S) are showing up under my microsoft account.

    Keep in mind series s is only compatible with digital games only not disk games

    Hi, I hope you're doing great out there. I am an Independent advisor and I am here to help you in regard to your concern.

    This may mean that these games were not purchased under the account that you're using, the games may be shared with you by another account on your Xbox One.

    You can validate this by signing in to https://account.microsoft.com/billing/orders, check if you can see the games that you're trying to install and play on your Xbox Series S.

    I am using the same login on the Xbox S that I used on the Xbox One at both houses. I was able to access the games before I changed out the Xbox One to the S at the one house. When I log into the Xbox One at the other house that is when I'm getting the error issues even though it's the same login. Just trying to figure out what happened since it all began when the Xbox one was changed out at the one house to the Xbox S.

    Xbox App on Windows 10 can't connect to my Xbox.

    So I went to another house with a different wireless network and Xbox One and my laptop immediately found and connected to it. I guess that must mean it is either my brand new Xbox One S or more likely my network. Still can't figure it out though.
