Bought Xbox live gold but can’t use any online features.

I paid Xbox live gold with an xbox card. I am able to download the three gold games. But i am not able to play any online games like the online mode of fifa. It just pops up a notification that i dont have the rights to play online and have to buy xbox
live gold. Can anyone help me. This sucks

Would suggest try the following.

Sign out and sign back in

Try a full power down either via the menu or hold the xbox button for 8 seconds

Remove your profile and sign back in again.

Hello Philipp,

Thanks for posting here on the xbox forums. If you haven't already, id like for you to power cycle the console. To do this, turn off the console by holding down the power button for 10 seconds, or until the console turns off. Try to play online afterwards.

If this doesn't work, go ahead and remove your account from the Xbox and then add it back to resync your account with
your subscription.
