    I bought 3 months XBL Gold sub yesterday, but for an account which is no longer used. How can I get the sub applied to the correct account?

    absolutely sick of Microsoft

    Just have a credit card or something linked to your account if you want fast purchased to happen, especially for XBL gold.

    Hi Guys

    I accidentally bought gold subscription for an old account i don't use anymore, at first it didn't really bother me because lately i've only been using my account for netflix but now that i've got some new games i want to start playing online but all my
    saved stuff is on my other account, I was wondering if anyone knew a way i could transfer the rest of my subscription to my other account, instead of having to purchase a new subscription

    So you have nothing attached to that account at all? You've never had a gold XBL account attached to your Microsoft Account? No credit cards, paypal accounts, etc.?

    Did you buy an XBL 3,6 or 12 month card?

    It looks like things have changed when it comes to having XBL Gold.

    Before we could just buy a 12 month card and never have to enter our credit card info but now a credit card is a basic requirement in order to have a Gold account.

    It's even needed if you were to create a Silver account and you wanted to redeem your free 1 month Gold trial.

    Unfortunately, it's currently not possible to use stored credit from Xbox gift cards as a valid payment option for XBL Gold. This is due to the automatic renewal (which is on by default) requiring a valid credit card or Paypal account.
