bought minecraft java edition and still cant play

So I just bought the minecraft java and bedrock deluxe edition and It wont let me play java. I click on the launcher and it only gives me a demo option for java but I can play the bedrock version perfectly fine. I tried another route of creating a desktop shortcut for the java edition and when I go to run the app, I get a small minecraft window that tells me "Click here to use the launcher to play". So I proceed with that route and it redirects me to the microsoft store on the browser where it tells me that I already own this, so I click on "install to... you already own this" then it redirects me to my xbox app and when I click to play java in the xbox app it redirects me to the small minecraft window that tells me "Click here to use the launcher to play". its an endless loop cycle that I cant seem to work around. I need help. Ive uninstalled 20 times. restarted my PC. nothing. I would like a refund or some support ASAP.

its been a over a month and i still have the same problem i bought minecraft bedrock edition on my but i cant get java

Sorry to hear about what happened. However, are you using the same account on your Microsoft store app and Minecraft launcher?

Open your Microsoft store app > click the profile pic or person icon at the top corner and from there you should see the email signed in.

On your Minecraft launcher > Settings > Account

Just to cross-check the accounts you're logged in because if you're using a different Store account from what you're using on the Minecraft launcher and Xbox app (sharing) unfortunately, please know that the owner is the only one who can access Java.

Same thing happend to me but i bought the Minecraft java and bedrock sold together but it still says i need to buy Minecraft Java Edition

I bought Java Edition on 24 May 2022. But I refunded it.

I bought the Minecraft: Java & Bedrock Edition for PC (the Bundle, released two days ago) on Minecraft official website (https://www.minecraft.net/en-us/store/minecraft-java-bedrock-edition-pc). on 8 June 2022.

I have uninstalled the Minecraft Launcher and reinstalled it.

I bought the Windows 10 version of Minecraft by mistake, but the one I wanted was the java edition.

I saw that anyone who buys minecraft java edition is entitled to minecraft Windows 10. Is the reverse also true? Who buys minecraft windows 10 is entitled to minecraft java edition?

If so, how do I access the java edition version at no additional cost?
