Bought in game currency on the wrong account

My Microsoft store account has a different email from my xbox account on pc and I didn't change it. I'm guessing the in game currency has been sent to my Microsoft store email which I do not use for xbox. Can I get this transferred to my xbox account as
it hasn't arrived in game. I have proof of purchase and if I could get this transferred that would be great thanks.

You will need to sign into the account which was used to make the purchase and request a refund.

I purchased in-game currency on Microsoft but I bought the game on steam so am I not eligible for a refund?
