Bought games on GPU won't be carried out on xcloud

Hello everyone,

I have been very disapointed to discover, recently, that bought games on game pass ultimate aren't being carried out on xcloud if you buy them before they leave.

As a 90% xcould gamer, that doesn't make any sens to pay for games you will lose anyway. I thought they had fixed the issue by giving us the possibility to buyout the games and to keep playing it on xcould, but apparently not. I'm mostly playing on my phone and my T.V.

That's a a huge bummer for me that makes me reconsidering my subscription. Unless it is planned to do otherwise from the MS' team ?

What are your thoughts ?

Xcloud is a gigantic service that is still in beta. Scaling to cover every Xbox title would certainly be a major challenge,especially to make sure you can connect to a machine with an obscure game.

Currently it only supports games in game pass for this reason. As the service changes, a wider range of titles may be included

I never expected to be in game pass either and now it is. So i won't rule it out of xCloud, and the chances are that it might be. But xCloud is still in preview and it's too soon fir anyone to confirm this.

XCLOUD isn't really a "console" afaik. It's a platform, it doesn't require GPU, CPU, etc. It requires a constant internet connection. I think consoles are on their way out.

Xcloud is a good idea but I like some space away from the gaming world and I don't fancy carrying a controller everywhere
