Bought game but the launcher still says play demo

not sure what im doing wrong, trying to download onto my desktop, and the desktop doesnt have a disc drive ..

downloaded the demo from the website, then from that screen i bought the digital game, it says i own game and can download and play, but when i click download it says will attempt to download but nothing pops up. when i go to click on the launcher app it downloaded it just goes to the demo, what am i doing wrong?

Microsoft has released an update to correct this issue. To install the update, follow these steps:

Select the Start button in the lower left corner of the main screen and select Settings.

Select Update and Security > Check for Updates.

Select View optional updates, then select update KB5004476 from the list.

Select Download and Install.

When the update is complete, restart the device.

You should now be able to install, update and launch games.

Create a notepad file with the following name:

"RepairGamingServices.ps1"

inside the file paste this text (if quotes):

Then, to run, right-click on the file, and run as administrator. then restart windows. then you need to open the Xbox app from Windows 10 that will be warning you that you need to install an extra component for the app, accept and wait for the installation. After that, Microsoft guarantees that you will be able to reopen and download Xbox Game Pass games on Windows 10.

The download worked but then it now says "incompatible with launcher" for windows and then still says "play demo" for Java edition.

i bought minecraft bedrock edition and i was suppose to get java edition for free but on the launcher it says play demo edition and on xbox it says i own the game, when i click the game it says get launcher when i already had it and it jus looped around and said play demo. I spent 2 hours of my lifetime trying to fix this and now i think i got ptsd ;/

I bought the game back in 2013 I'm a legacy account holder which was moved to mojang and now to Microsoft but after migrating my launcher no longer loads java says demo only I have re-downloaded the game and still the same demo only.

I also tried the link you send but microsoft store shows buy not get
