Bought Flatout 4 on sale but apparently it wasn’t anymore?

So turned on my Gears of War 4 Xbox one S and went into the deals for Xbox live, and saw Flatout 4 was still available, having had a chance to try it the day before at a friends house, and the price was $15 it’s a steal!

Well much to my surprise I got charged the full amount, so at that point I’m confused, surprised and now a little angry!

So apparently after a chat with Xbox Support staff who’s name was Nina G we figured out the deal had expired and that’s why it was charged the full price.

And my order number was

9579222121

Just wondering if anything can be done, and if it’s possible to get the difference refunded? Or am I stuck paying the regular price, probably for something that wasn’t entirely my fault....

Ahem, I'll repeat, "I bought a game called Flatout for my P.C"!

 

Flatout is getting a new game on PS4, Xbox One and PC

The Flatout series is always one we have been fond out and the good news is that there's another one in development, this time for PC, PlayStation 4 and Xbox One.

Publisher Strategy First and developer Kylotonn Entertainment, will release the title in 2016, with director, Emanuel Wall saying, "FlatOut is our most important franchise. There is a strong vocal community that have numerous constructive ideas and suggestions
on what they would like to experience in an all new FlatOut. We would like to invite anyone who is a fan of FlatOut to be part of the process. We are excited about our partnership with Kylotonn Entertainment."

The original FlatOut games were developed by Bugbear Entertainment, although Flatout 3 was developed by a different team and seemed to lose the appeal of the first two.

 

Phone/chat support would be the only ones who could issue a refund if possible. Deals with gold change every Tuesday, so last day would have been the last day for the sale.
