I am having the same issue, I have downloaded the game AND went out and bought a disc. Issue wont resolve.

Bioshock 2 downloaded disk error

I've bought last week on XBOX live the game Bioshock 2. It starts, but after 5 minutes of gameplays (everytime on the same place) it says, that the disc is not working.

But i downloaded the game, so i dont need a disc!?

I already redownloaded it and deleted cache and everything, it still wont work....

Im having the same issue. It wont let me launch the WM2 campaign. I have tried uninstalling and reinstalling the game even though I have the disc an still nothing. It also wont download 100% of the updates.

You need the disc to launch the game so it wont work on an all digital xbox. The core game is disc only because it is bundled with the base. You would be able to download all the dlc packs online only, is that what you had installed?

Its not through xbox live, i bought the game disc and downloaded it to the xbox. I have a profile alrwady set up on the xbox and it wont work
