Bought an Xbox One X on November 23, 2018 and still haven't been emailed the game codes

The guy in the store who sold me the console was probably mistaken about the free game of my choice as I hadn't seen anything about a deal like that so I'm fine with not recieving that, but the Xbox One X 1TB bundles on the Microsoft Store explicitly state
that the Gears of War 4 code is "emailed 10 days post-purchase" and does not mention a promotion period at all. Is the store page incorrect?

Have you tired contacting the Microsoft store you mad the purchase at?

Alright, thank you. The wording used on the store page description is contradictory to the terms and conditions of the offer so I was confused. Thanks again for clearing that up.

I'm not sure about the code for the game of your choosing, but per the terms of the offer, the Gears of War code will be emailed 10 days after the end of the promotion (December 25).

As far as the free game, you'll want to contact Microsoft Store support for assistance.
