    Hello,

    So I just finished chatting with live support and they thought that posting here might help my cause. Here is my story. 9 days ago I purchased an Xbox one X then a few days ago Microsoft announces that all people who purchase an xbox one x get a free copy
    of sea of thieves Buy Xbox One X, Get Sea of Thieves for a Limited Time - Xbox Wire I'm having buyers remorse and I wish I had waited 9 days and got the bundled in digital game for free. Is there anything anybody can do to help

    Inside XBOX Smite and SoT Promotion

    I tuned in and watched all of Inside XBOX the day it aired Live, and then I even watched the follow up SoT stream last week for about an hour, I have not received any of the promotional skins for either Smite or Sea of Thieves. I'm hoping to at least get
    the Sea of Thieves one.

    Missed the Sea of Thieves promotion

    I joined the Xbox One family in December 2013 after being a big fan of the Xbox 360 era. I owned an original Xbox One, the newer version of the Xbox One and now own both the Xbox One S and Xbox One X.

    I bought the Xbox One X 2 weeks ago to get ready for the ultimate Sea of Thieves experience. It definitely was an expensive purchase for a student like me but I still could not wait to finally get my hands on it. Fast forward to today and I feel betrayed
    by the brand I have been loyal to for 8 years. Microsoft recently announced the free addition of Sea of Thieves with every Xbox One X purchase starting from March 18 until March 24.

    I normally would not complain or feel betrayed by a promotion like this, but since it is one of my most anticipated games in years, I definitely regret purchasing the Xbox One X two weeks ago instead of now. My purchase of the Xbox One X just missed the
    PUBG promotion and now I missed the best promotion I could have asked for as well!

    I really hope someone could help me out here, because as a loyal Xbox customer, I feel pretty disappointed right now!

    You would have to contact the retailer you purchased it from to see if they are participating in the promotion and see if they can do anything.

    Can I play Sea of Thieves on PC if I bought it for Xbox?

    Unfortunately due to the copy being physical, your copy of sea of thieves can only be played on the Xbox one. If the game was purchased digitally then i believe that you would be able to play sea of thieves on both xbox and pc. Sorry for the inconvenience.
