ok so let me get this out of the way, this is a day one xbox one and it has been connected to 3 tvs, the first 2 tvs the on/off feature has worked flawlessly fresh out of the box, now back in october I bought a brand new 55' Sony XBR-55x850c television,
when I connected my xbox to it, it will not turn the tv on and off. At the time my tv model wasnt listed, over time it was listed but my xbox refused to select it when I kept hitting ok, instead it took a remote code when I clicked on guide me and when I did
that, it kind of works. What i mean is when I am 2-3 feet away from the tv whether I am standing or sitting, the tv will turn on and off but any further than 3 feet, it wont work at all, now today i went back under devices to enter it manually, clicked on
my tv model and finally my xbox was able to select it, but regardless I am still having problems, I have reset all tv settings for the xbox, did a hard reset, everything I can think of but my tv refuses to turn on and off unless I am 2-3 feet away from it,
does anyone ahve any idea what the heck this is???

Background Downloads Not Working

My Xbox one background download feature only works less than half the time. It worked the first day I started the download fir mcc but every time I shut it down now it doesn't work and it's set to instant on and everything but it still isn't downloading
when it's off.

It's hard to see, what kind of TV is that (Sony? Model?)?

It looks to me like something on the TV may be set to cause that display. Look through the TV settings for a feature comparison option (eg show TruMotion on and off at same time) and turn that off.

Turn On feature works about 80% of the time.

Turn Off feature works only if the volume of the TV or surround sound is at a reasonable level.
