Bought a game from the Xbox Marketplace, but it says I don't own it

Hi,

So Xbox was having this sale for backward-compatible 360 games for like up to 80% off. I bought a few and all were charged to my bank account, and I got the email receipts for them all. I was able to download all of the games except for one, but I was still
charged for it. I thought maybe I had to manually download it from its own marketplace page, but when I went back it was asking for me to buy it again even though I already had. I'm not really sure what to do in this instance; I've tried troubleshooting, but
couldn't find any solutions, and I tried talking to someone but they couldn't find any answers either.

If anyone has any ideas, I'm all ears,

Hey there,

This is quite odd and may be a bug between your account and console. Have you checked your recent purchases on your Microsoft account via the website to see if it was picked up on their end as well?

You can view your recent purchases using the Order History page at:

https://account.microsoft.com/billing/orders

If it shows up but you are still not able to download it on your console, I would suggest contacting support and have both your email and the Order History on hand as they may ask for it.

Yeah I checked the order history and it said that the order was complete, I guess it time to call tech support. Thanks anyway for the help.

Look for it from your PC. You may have to initiate the install from there and it'll go to your console. Buying 360 games can be a bit buggy sometimes.

I've already bought it in my region in marketplace. Tried it again and it said you already own this game. But in the Microsoft game store it says to buy it. It downloaded on my Xbox but says I need to put a disc in as I truly don't own the game.

Kindly validate the transaction for the game first. Please sign in to https://account.microsoft.com/billing/orders and locate your order for Sea Of Thieves. It should be visible as "redeemed" or "completed".

Once you have located the transaction, kindly sign out both on your Microsoft Store App and Xbox App then restart your PC before signing back in. Make sure that you will sign in under the account where the game was redeemed.
