Bots in forums

With all this spam in the forums. The forum server is getting very sluggish on respoding. Something must be done....

[/quote]If the forums had a visual code that only a human can read (i don't know what it's called but they already exist) we could use those codes to enter the forums before logging in, this would stop any bots from gaining access, but are these spam posts
really from bots?

Something has got to be done about this. They just keep popping up everywhere. As soon as one gets deleted, another one takes its place. It is really annoying to see this forum being cluttered with spam.
