    I bought an XBOX Elite series 2 controller and both "XBOX" and "A" bottons on the controller can open XBOX game bar. I only want XBOX botton can active that. Are there any solutions?

    For sure I checked update using a wired connection. However, it's very sad to buy a controller 180€ without stable bluetooth compatibility, and have to buy a USB dongle to using this controller wireless. I mean I'm not sure this is the solution.

    I believe you must be using a Bluetooth connection to connect the controller to your PC, right? Have you connected the controller with a cable and checked for updates?

    I believe it's some kind of incompatibility of the controller with Bluetooth and researching about it I didn't find another solution besides using the controller with a cable or the most recommended use the Xbox Wireless adapter.

    I downloaded the Xbox Accessories app from the Windows Store, did the Controller Update within the app and now "A" doesn´t open the game bar anymore :)

    Open Game Bar then press Settings (the Gear icon) then shortcuts then remove the A button from the shortcut list.

    If that isn't the issue.

    Go to Start < Xbox Game Bar < [Right click] < More < App Settings < Reset
