Both Starfield and Forza crash back to my Home Screen

Both Starfield and Forza crash back to my home screen on my series x, but both play on my series s. They are downloaded to internal hard drive. I’ve uninstalled and reinstalled, powercycled the system. Factory reset. Still no joy

I find it strange that both games work on your Xbox Series S but not on your Xbox Series

A possible solution is to try installing the games on an external hard drive. If games are working properly from an external hard drive, then the problem is definitely related to the internal hard drive of your Xbox Series X.

Another possible solution is to try updating the firmware on your Xbox Series X. Microsoft has released several firmware updates for the Xbox Series.

So I re-installed NBA and BF4. Both of those games DO NOT work now (BF4 multiplayer doesn't work).

NBA kicks me back to the home screen.

BF4 Multiplayer sits on the loading screen when I choose a game mode.

Forza now crashes at specific race tracks.

I called in for a replacement XBOX. We'll see how that turns out.

This happens to me with Forza 5, Battlefield 4 and Max the Curse Of Brotherhood, this needs to be fixed Microsoft I'm tired of having to re-do levels because the system crashes back to the home screen!!!

Update: These crashes only seem to be happening with the NHL app on Xbox One, but not Xbox 360. I've turned on my old Xbox 360 and have been able to watch that same feed just fine without the application crashing back to the home screen.

On the Xbox One the NHL App crashes back to my home screen after a couple of minutes of watching.

Pretty lame, in my opinion. It's the only game that does this, and I use my Xbox a lot, so I know it's performing as designed.

It's not just Starfield, it's the same in F1 2022 too. While I was racing, game was crashing and going back to the main screen of Xbox series X but this was solved by resetting of Xbox.
And for Starfield, I have done everything, also factory reset but nothing changed. It is the same. I don't even know what the game looks like because at the starting scene it crashes and goes to main menu of Xbox.
