If they are both using the same console, then this will be easy to sort out. With Son 1's account, log in and make the console the home Xbox. That will then allow Son 2 to use Son 1's Gold subscription at no extra cost. Instructions here

You will need to link Son 2's account to a separate Epic account. You can only link one account to an Epic account.

If your son deleted his Microsoft account, you will need to reopen the account before you can link it to your account again.

My son has historically used my xbox account to sign into games and link with friends. However, I've recently separated from my sons mum and its proving problematic for son to use / sign into my account to play games etc.

Is there any way of transferring his games, progress and conneections onto his own email/xbox account?

Games can not be transferred account to account

I have setup a family account. My main account with the subscription is the organizer. So, I have my main account with subscription and email. I have another account linked to the family with a separate email. I can see that my xbox is the connected device for both. My second account does not show any subscriptions. When I go to the xbox/play on my mac with my second account it does not allow me to play on the cloud. All it does is ask me to join. If I switch accounts and am on the main account at the same time as my son is, only one of us can play, kicks the other out. I have checked both accounts and the my xbox is selected. Does it have anything to do with me trying to play on a Mac?

I personally don't play Xbox anymore so I don't have an issue removing 1 account My Account but I still want to have parental access to both of the other 2 my daughter and sons.

Both of them play separate Xbox's one's downstairs and one's upstairs at different times so we don't really have a main one.
