Borrow Digital Games to a Friend

Why it isnt possible to borrow digital games to a friend? A BlueRay i also can borrow, why not a digital game? I think so the digital games are currently worth less than the BlueRay-Games. Sony makes commercial to invite a friend into a game, who dont
owns this game. I miss this at the xbox!

Game sharing

Your friend cannot share digital games or content with you. That is strictly forbidden in the terms of your purchase. Account sharing can result in permanent bans which includes every purchase you have ever made. If you wanna borrow his game disc of Halo
5 that is ok, not a digital copy though.

 

Disk for installing on xbox

I am getting the physical disk to play my ghosts game and I was wondering if anyone knows if you can borrow it to a friend who bought digital copy so he can put in on his xbox one to avoid having to download the 40 gb?

 

They tried what you don't seem to get is Sony's implementation isnt what you think

Only multiplayer functions and only for a couple hours with only the said person

FYI sonysngameshare is limited with most publishers disabling it and you had to have a paid membership

Good luck trying to get psn gameshare to work

Xboxs versions is better with 24hour period and transfers could occur if you have been friends for 100days

 

FYI there was a massive protest against digital game sharing since it required the Xbox to sign in every 24hoirs to prevent piracy which wouldce ensured transfers and game lending

Microsoft were going to add it when they first announced Xbox One but then everyone complained that the console would need to be connected to the Internet at all times (even though I bet most of them already are) so Microsoft changed their approach and removed
that functionality before the console launched.
