Booting from Xbox X on my Windows 10 Dell Inspiron

Hi!

I know the laptops dont have hdmi input wont be able to enjoy my 4k laptop by easily connecting it to my xbox x via hdmi.

I was wondering if theres a way to bypass the laptops hardware and boot my laptop start with xbox x operating system that uses the laptops display.

Is it possible to make it happen with usb to usb cable? Or usb+hdmi to usb cable? Is it just a fantasy ? Could there be a converter in between to make it all happen?

the way you describe isn't possible.

The only thing you can do is to Stream towards the laptop, this does require both devices to be on the same network. More details on that can be found here:

hi, there wont be a cable of any kind that will let you use your laptop display for the xbox display, it will have to be specially modified to even be remotely possible.

The only way as already mentioned is to stream the xbox to your laptop over your network using the xbox app on windows 10 on the laptop.

Hi - thank you. It is a Dell Inspiron 15 5000 laptop using Windows 10. It was working perfectly until I installed a new HP printer. I can access every other website on my laptop but not the Microsoft games.
